A decorative sculpture for your home or place of work!

The shutters of this old-time Israeli window are painted green – known as the color of relaxation. They are wide open wide, inviting residents of the home to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The only adornment in the sculpture is a potted cactus. It represents the people of Israel who, like the plant, withstand the elements and are able to endure in harsh conditions.

Celebrated Israeli artist and sculpture David Gerstein is world-famous. Many of his studies of still life, urban scenery and human activities carry a humorous comment. Here, the window series are an observation and comment on humdrum life and survival.
