The Seven Species is known in Hebrew as “Shiv’at HaMinim”. These are seven agricultural products – five fruits and two grains – that are mentioned in the Bible (Devarim 8:8)as being special products of the Land of Israel. they are wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives and dates.
